In Welcome 🙏
I’m Brant. Forum Admin and creator of Gym firebrand. I created this entity because I like to do things my own way. I’ve been a fitness trainer for 6 years now. I’ve seen all there is to offer as far as Fitness is concerned in the Central Valley and I wanted to make something new. Not a fitness supercenter. Not a rackquette club. Not a Planet of Fitness. Not a CrossFit affiliate. Not a physical therapy clinic, not a place where I can coddle you and tell you sweet lies to keep you coming back so I can make money off you...I wanted Gym..a hybrid gym...One part dungeon, one part Dojo...one part Body mechanic Shop. Emphasis on restructuring the body, and the way one moves... how we interact with the physical world. There was something to be desired after working in fitness super centers and country clubs. I wanted to start a guild of people that didn’t mind getting dirty, lifting heavy objects, dominating their physicality and recovering from the experience in a puddle of sweat. Without the rules and confines of someone over seeing me to make sure everyone had a feel good 20 minute workout in the endless hamster wheel of super gyms... I could forge a new method...Hammered out through trial and error, blood, sweat and countless hours until my vision began to come to fruition . I had adopted the mentality from my personal Gym heroes that ”The Mind is Primary”. And so I set fourth to bring this idea into reality, albeit my own way. As I said, I’m not a follower. I had to do it myself, there is no other way, than to get under the bar. To pick up heavy things that challenge you. To force your body to the ground, stand and jump up, then jump back down over and over and over until the body physically wouldn’t move anymore was and IS the only way I could see it I whappening. I had to change who I was. I had to lead from the front. The chubby, weak, pathetic, victim, kid I left behind in college would have to die. The old habits that we’re worthless to living healthy, also had to go. It was going to be all or nothing and I was not going to take no for an answer. You either do it, or you don’t do it. “Do or Do Not. There is no try.” -Yoda That is the type of client I want to train. I don’t just want to train you either. I wanted to teach Others that could take pleasure in the pain with me. We would become a family. A guild Of people that work harder than any other gym gowers I know. This would also carry over into all aspects of my teaching. No matter your age or place of training. I would make the strongest, most flexible, rock solid mentality in anyone I would come to train. Be you 12, or 98. You would be treated the same. Like a human being that deserves the best. The curriculum would be to Dominate the Human Body. The method would be with iron, spirit, will and the determination to change the way you think about being alive...taking your physicality by the reigns and owning it... you are responsible for your health. Many will never know what it’s like to feel the power, speed, strength and grit that comes from pushing yourself to your limits. Even if you didn’t know it, I am enforcing this mentality into you through training. 3 sets of 10 does not exist. Life does not wait. You cant stop 💀 Death but you can fight it tooth and nail and beat it to a pulp. All the while, turning the body into a highly specialized machine, capable of dominating the physical world. The mind isn’t just primary... THE MIND IS EVERYTHING.... This is GYM FIREBRAND 🗡 🔥
